Save Juco national basketball. Organize a National Invitational Tournament for JUCO. Stop the rigging. When the lives of men are threatened. Get Charlie off the HTA!

I actually think a Juco NIT would make a ton of sense!

It would be great exposure for a lot of players, especially if there was a larger number of teams at a central location(As opposed to teams hosting each round until the final 4).

Maybe the setup could be more like NCAA regional sites. That way, the appeal is still there for 4-year scouts to travel to a multiple game event.

The downside is finding host sites that are willing to invest in the low reward aspect. You gotta figure the turnout to watch JUCO teams play for "25th in the nation" isn't gonna set any attendance records. However, if the host sites were actual NJCAA member schools(be they invitees to the tournament or not) you 'll probably find more willingness. Coaches would just have to accept the fact that they may wind up facing a team with homecourt advantage....It happens when all the marbles are at stake in Kansas, so what's the difference?

A coach would even have the option to approach it as a pre-pre season game, sitting his already signed/committed sophs in favor of showcasing his other players and getting a better look at his returning talent.....

One option is to pick 24 teams -- first two rounds are at higher seeds, final 8 at one site
