Coffeyville is one and done, which leads me to think even more that the Jayhawk Conference was down this year and Hutch benefited from a weak schedule. We'll find out Wednesday at noon

The Hutch game was the best calling I have ever seen when Hutch was playing! Goes to show the Fla teams are not that great. The Odessa/Gillette game was not good. The refs played a big part.

That's a quality win for Hutch. The game with Odessa Thursday also promises to be interesting. While Odessa won the always-tough Region 5 tournament, the Wranglers did not have to beat South Plains or McLennan to do so.

Home cooking or none, Hutch should have a tougher time with Northwest Florida State in the semifinals. The "other" Raiders demolished San Jac Thursday.
