At-Large Bids will be announced today (Sunday). Women's selections released at 3:30 PM (CDT). There are eight at-large bids up for grabs in the Women's field. Only four for the men which will be released at 5:30 CDT. Follow both of them on twitter, @NJCAA

My opinion for the Men's bids:
South Plains College (Region 5 - West TX/New Mexico)
    Hutchinson CC (Region 6)
Northwest Florida State College (Region 8)

    And. . . the 4th spot goes to . . . . . . . . .
Does Region 5 get a 3rd team - McClennan CC (29-2) ranked #7 in final poll but overall strength of schedule a question Does Region 16 get its only rep in #9 ranked Mineral Area College (28-3), only losses to Moberly (ranked top 20 all season) and twice to Region 16 champ TRC.
or does Florida get a 3rd team in with Eastern Florida State College (28-5), ranked #11 and has beaten #3 NWFSC twice.

As much as I would hope MAC would've earned its way there being top 10 basically all year, I see what they've done with the At-Large bids since changing to this format, and they usually protect Kansas, Florida, and both Texas regions. McClennan is the logical choice based on record (only 2 losses) and highest ranked team left not to auto qualify, but resume doesn't include any wins vs. top 25 teams. They don't play any of the region 5 or 14 heavyweights.

Region 16 isn't getting any love from the NJCAA on any front, especially with tournament bids/seeds, but even more so since going to the current format.

My 2 cents says Eastern Florida State College will get the final At-Large bid, although I hope I,m wrong. Region 16 deserves to have a team represented. But, with the history of the "expect the unexpected," attitude and inconsistancy with the selection committee in the last four years, let alone the selection criteria, it wouldn't surprise me if McLennan gets the bid.

A long shot would be a 2 loss North Dakota State College of Science, the Region 13 champ and District 11 runner-up to Indian Hills.

Oh well, we,ll see what happens.

Good analysis IMO. I suspect that the NJCAA will go with McLennan or Eastern Florida State too

It's #11 East Fl. St. , #1 South Plains, #2 Hutch (of course) and #3 NW Florida St.
